iPod connection

Hello everyone!
I got a 07 Sport fit. Is there a way I can hook up the ipod connection myself? Can you control the ipod from stereo when it's hooked up?
Thanks for any help!
BTW I know about the AUX...

I'm talking about the ipod hook up that they add in the glove box.

Since iPod starts with a vowel, it should be an iPod.
