I bought a 2008 Honda Blackberry pearl two months ago. I love it. But i bought it without the rear lip. Now i want to repair it and went looking online for it and the cheapest Ive seen was 194 plus shipping and plus all the clips and what not. Then i found some guy out in Cali, i live in NY, and he had one for 70 bucks with shipping. so i bought. now here lies the problem, he didn't tell me that the holes or hooks for the clips on the lip itself where missing. so the only connection i have are the ones that are on the two sides, so the lip droops somewhat in the middle. keep in mind i have to bondo, sand, prime, paint, clear coat the lip because its scratched and a different color. Any suggestions to help with the drooping? i really dont want to put a whole bunch of double sided tape or start making holes if i don't have to. Would putting a picture up help you guys understand what i'm talking about? All the help would be appreciated.

 

cant you get new clips? other then that your only option would be tape or drilling

 

yes you can get new clips, but my problem is that the holes or hooks that supposed to be on the lip itself to attach to the bottom of the bumper are not there.
