Allow myself to introduce... myself

Hi there, Freaks- I mean that in the nicest way possible.

My Name is Thanh and I hail from beautiful, warm and sunny Southern California and am the owner of a mildly modded IS300. Last Friday I came into possession of an 08 Honda Fit and have been lurking on this site since then, figured I'd throw up a hello.

Spent the weekend removing traces of the previous owner;
-Wiped down headliner and all reachable surfaces with purple power
-Removing/unbolting the front seats (what is up with the passenger seat?) to vacuum, vacuum again, rug doctor shampoo, vacuum yet again to remove dog hair (nasty) and cig smoke (double nasty) plus rear seats, carpet and floormats.
-Bombed the interior with Zep smoke odor eliminator (twice)
-Filled the tires up with air as the tire pressure indicator was on.
-Service B indicator was on with -6,xxx miles overdue, I really hope the P.O. did the service and just didn't reset the light. Changed oil to Motorcraft 5w20 and a Wix oil filter.
-Reinstalled some interior trim pieces, looks like the P.O. had a system and removed it in a hurry before turning the car in and there were trim pieces strewn about/installed incorrectly. Still have a plastic piece and some screws I have no idea where they go. And missing one trim piece for the front passenger seat mount.
-Removed stickers and residue.
-Replaced cabin filter with a 20x20x1 home air filter cut to fit.

Last but not least;
-Set my seating positiong, the time and radio stations to my preference and burned an MP3 cd to bump lol

Next weekend I'll address the exterior, in addition to being pretty rough with swirls and spiderwebs, there is damage to a fender, a door and a cracked rear bumper. Mainly dents and scratches/paint transfer scuffs. Car looks black but I see hints of pearl so maybe I'll find it's NHBP once I get it shiny.

Car's going to be a daily driver to and from work to save my IS from further wear and tear, plus parking idiots at work, so I probably won't mod it too much, although I have some plans already, just minor things

Not my first choice but I kind of fell into this car, it's a bit odd looking but not offensive, drives pretty well and is good on gas, and it's a manual. Radio reception is better than on my car and the cd player actually works, has way more cargo room/carrying capacity plus the cupholder fits a 1 liter aquafina bottle so that's cool.

Well, that's about it for now, probably won't hear much from me as I think I'll remain more of a lurker than anything, at least I can ge this site from work.

-T

Welcome, sounds like the previous owner really abused the car. Sounds like it now has a nice home where it will be taken care of now. Once you get it all cleaned up throw up some pics
