Flickering lights

I'm having a problems with all of my electronics flickering... hid headlights led foot lights led dome light dash lighting. None of the flickering is to the beat of my bass. Just random low high over and over when I'm driving doesn't happen when I'm stopped in neutral or park.

I have the independent fog lights done, led foot lighting and a 4 way ac adapter on two separate add-a-fuse. I have a 500w amp and one twelve inch sub.

Im asking for help figuring out what the problem is. Also will a capacitor help with this problem???

Thank you!!!!!!!

your headlights and system killed your alternator... not under warranty.

pry the alternator off and take it to napa or discount, they can test it.

i've bought high output alts for small block chevy's before, not sure they make them for the fit application.... but you're pulling some serious juice, you may want to consider a bigger alternator along with a seperate main bus, connected right off the alt, for all your accessories.

edit: re: capacitor. in an AC system a cap boosts voltage, but in a DC system all it does is provide a source of energy to provide temporary coulombs when needed (think bass hits). if you're running a constant draw (HID lights, a hotplate off that 4 way ac adapter) then a cap won't help you much if any.

Ok I dont know much about the alternator i can not even point it out. I understand it's not under warranty not to big of a deal. I would like to get a higher output alternator. Some of these guys are running crazy amounts of subs and amps does anyone have insight on a bigger/more power alternator?

Ok so a capacitor is out? Will charging the battery using a charger help if I do it at night until I get this problem fixed?

I emailed powerbastards.com and received this reply. Does anyone with more knowledge think I'll be able to get this to fit?

Hello and thanks for contacting us. I would recommend our Fitzall 220+AMP alternator for your vehicle. We have these in stock and they carry a one year no questions asked warranty. If you order before 3PM EST M-F we can ship these same day. Don’t forget to check out our big gauge wiring kits with 250AMP fuse that would compliment your new alternator. Here is the direct link to purchase the alternator:

Fitzall-220 - 220AMP Alternator for Imports and Domestics | PowerBastards.com

Please read the details of this product, modifications to your vehicle will be necessary. This is a universal fitting alternator that is offered for this application because a high output direct fit is not available. Thanks so much,
