Hey all, been lurking on here for a few weeks now and now that as of today I am officially the owner of a 07 Honda Fit sport I would register and introduce myself. Sorry for the long read haha
The Fit is something that took my by surprise to be honest. I have always been one to buy older sports cars, even if they needed some work and then fix/mod them as I had the time and money to do so. My biggest love that I had gotten rid of being a 95 Infinti G20t. My "other" car now besides the fit is an 89 300ZX which is a work in progress to the 600+whp club, tis on hold till i find the time or just fess up and pay someone to finish it for me. Nothing like a trunk full of expensive parts collecting dust waiting to be put on
Anyways, being a working man and a family man now, everyone working nights while I work days, I have no time to work on JUNK anymore. My latest bombshell being a '90 BMW 525i, this is the car that sent me over the edge, it needed all minor things, but unfortunately finding them time to do it is next to impossible, my daughter now being almost 3, you cannot leave her alone, nor can you just put her in a playpen and you can no longer take your eyes off her for even a second.
So I was in the market for something "new" preferably certified pre-owned. I looked at quite a few cars, ended up goign to a Honda dealership. The salesmen showed me the Honda Fit at first and I said no way in hell, not my kind of thing, and i was going to be getting into a 08 Honda Civic EX-L, well right towards the end it ended up falling thru do to someone over there being a dumbshit and not realizing it had alread had a downpayment on it etc.
Finding a cert pre-owned 5 speed car (which was my BIGGEST stipulation when finding a car) around here is damn near impossible, so more or less to entertain myself and not feel helpless I called the sales guy up and asked if I could look at the Fit, went to the dealership and took it for a spin, it was honestly love at first drive. I spent the night just looking at them on the net where I found FitFreak and the more I looked at it the more I fell in love with it, i called him the next day and told him to sign me up.
After 2 weeks of waiting (had a problem with the banks all the sudden, go figure) I was finally able to pick up my 2007 Honda Fit Sport today!
I have been booting it around town with this little econobox all day and I have not had so much fun in such a little car, it may not be quick by any means but it surprises me none the less, and shes just so nimble shes really a pleasure to drive.
The more I look at the car and drive it the more I fall in love with it, in a million years I never thought I'd love a little econobox as much as this thing.
Anyways

So you're a Nissan guy. There's a few here also. I love the Fairlady Z of old in Japan. Had a chance to drive them long time ago. Anyway, happy motoring and enjoy your new ride.
Well it was a Cert Pre-Owned, dealer would hardly move on price at all but with taxes and fees out the door ~15k well worth it for the Warranty IMO
