Noise from front passenger cabin at >70mph

Hi, I am new to this place, bear with me if any silly questions. I purchase a used 2005 honda jazz 1.2 S(fit) MT with 70k mileage done. The car has some kind of vibration noise come from front passenger cabin when I drive at the motorway. Noise get louder when accelerating. Is that normal for mini-car like fit?

Thanks

A small engine has to rev up higher than a larger one to accelerate or maintain high speeds and is going to be louder... If you are feeling vibration it could be related to a drive train or wheel/tire problem.. Is it something that you notice at speeds lower than 70 or just when the engine is revving at 3500 RPM or higher?

If you feel it in the steering wheel or your butt - like Coyote said.

Vibration noise - if you feel it in your ears, possibly some combination of windows being open can do that at speed.

I had to spend 6 days on a cardiac ICU because I lowered my rear windows at 70 MPH while wearing a heart monitor.... I drove to the VA Hospital 130 miles from home and was fitted with the monitor that I returned with the next day I didn't know I was supposed to wait to learn if I could leave and went home where I was told by my wife that I had to return because I had had a heart attack... The monitor said my pulse had increased to 180 beats per minute at about the same time I had lowered the rear windows to let out cigarette smoke the day before... I had been in bed for 6 days and through all kinds of stress testing before I figured it out when they told me at what time my event had occurred... I decided that I had best not say anything about the window thing to the doctors.

i did not noticed the sound at lower than 70mph. There are no physical vibration, therefore I also suspect it may cause by wind as it only happen in motorway. The sound like a coin dropped somewhere in the car and it definitely come from front passenger cabin side. The car just take a full service from a local garage and they only did a wheel alignment.

Doesn't sound like wind turbulence. Maybe something (object - paper, metal, plastic) stuck in your vent tubes? I would do a physical walk around/visual inspection around the intakes (cowling, vent/filter areas, vent blades) for anything loose or don't belong. Just my guess. Good luck!

It could be that there is something like a loose plastic panel or one of the most common gripes we see on this forum, dash vibration... If that is the problem you can use round foam backing rod from a building supply store by pushing it into the space between the front of the dash and the windscreen....Round Closed Cell Backer Rod - Backer Rod Foam Insulation

Sound like the possible reason, as I heard it is coming from some where between the wind screen and front of dash. Will give a try, thanks.

I don't know if this is the answer to your problem, but have you tried toggling the "fresh air/recirculated air" lever on your Fit? If the lever is not completely pushed "home" in either direction, you may experience wind noise from the HVAC vent flap not completely sealing. I discovered that this action solved the problem in my friend's '07 GD3.
Another place to check is the recirculation intake. I once had a plastic bag get sucked up, and it was restricting air flow.
