I'm basing answer off what I have read on the forums not personal experience. I have seen someone with 14's and I think the 1st gen (GD1) came with stock 14" wheels in Japan

 

They 10s...but I keep em clean tho!

 

well as we know that depends on the offset right?
( just beat'n a dead horse here lol. )
I have a 1988 civic hb w/13's and the brakes look exactly like the Fits front brakes.Def the calipers are the same I'll measure the disc next time i have the wheel off.

I'm gonna try sum 1970 N600 rims w 2" spacers

 

down sizing the wheel has nothing to do with the contact patch or tire height. thats all in the tire size. not that a 13" wheel would fit anyways
