Can someone with a honda manual please help?
Can someone with a honda manual please help?
CEL is on with a blinking D. Code I pulled was P0847 "Transmission Fluid Preassure Sensor/Switch B circuit Low"
I'm thinking that is also the reason why sometimes car shifts from 1st to 2nd pretty hard (more than normal).
What I need help is what is the part number for Transmission Fluid Sensor switch and also a pic or exact location on where in the tranny its at. I know Honda charges $200 for labor only and switch is only $60 so I want to change it our myself. Please help if you can, I would really be thankful.
Thanks

I have the FSM and have found the section about code P0847, but it is lengthy and detailed. It references other sections to check before proceeding and includes other things to check before replacing the 3rd Clutch Transmission Shift Fluid Pressure Switch...whatever that is. I'm willing to help however I can, but this looks like quite a process to determine that is truly the problem.
The manual is very vague about exact placement. It only says to raise the vehicle, remove the splash sheild and disconnect the pressure sensor before removing. No actual picture of the placement.

TRANSMISSION FLUID PRESSURE SWITCH B (3rd clutch)
Here's a location on a 2010
The diagnostic procedure is for using the Honda DTS to trouble shoot the code. The solution is to replace the switch.
Hope this helps.
