I have a faulty SRS unit and the replacement cost here is more than $800NZ. Which is crazy. I can get one from Japan through jesse@jessestreeter.com :: Anything from Japan; Faster & Cheaper — Jesse Streeter but we are still talking $700NZ+

There are second hand ones available for around $100NZ landed but mainly from the UK and Germany.

My questions are:

-Are all the Keihin non side air bag SRS units for these cars compatible? For instance the 77960 SAA G82 with the 77960 SAA G81 (now called 77960 SAA 305)

-Has anyone used these guys http://www.airbag24.com for a repair?

-There are also Siemens units available are these more reliable than the Keihins and are they compatible?
