Ok...On the GD3 Fits we have Vtec-E correct? Which is an economy Vtec. That being said is anybody else able to feel or hear their Vtec engage? How can you test your Vtec solenoid to make sure its good (I know it sounds like a big newb question, but I've never had one go bad on me or not been able to hear or feel it engage on any of my Hondas). Any helpful input is appreciated.

 

Got to thinking should I have posted this in DIY/Repair/Maintenance section? Also, I figured out how to test a solenoid, but I can't get around to testing it until tomorrow. I'm still curious as to if anyone else is able to tell when it engages.

 

I think its one of those things that is so small i think the only way you would see it is in your milage a gallon

 

After I installed a Short Ram Intake I can almost feel and hear vtec.
