Finally... I did it... RALLY ARMOR Mud Flaps on GD =)

It took about 2 hours to do this. After being inspired by a fellow fitfreak member putting Rally Armor Mud Flaps on a GE, it inspired me to experiment them on my GD. Just to let you all know, I previously experimented putting BASE 07-08 OEM mud guards on my GD Sport but no matter how I shaved them and how hard I tried, they just never worked out in the front (at least).

I love the practicality of mud guards (okay, and the looks) and as a former Subaru guy, I love Rally Armor mud flaps as well. This is just one picture for now and I will definitely post more after a car wash

I know its not the best picture out there and I know that some people will install their mud flaps the way THEY want to but this is the way I like it...

Neat-o, and looks like you did a meticulously clean install as well. Very nice!

Thank you! I've been contemplating this for over a year and at one point a few fitfreak members tried to do a rally armor group buy as I believe someone convinced rally armor to make custom mud flaps for the fit if we could get a certain amount of people to commit. Since that fell through, I became more and impatient. I almost decided to just give up on the fit and get something else. However, with gas prices spiking up, and doing some soul searching, I knew deep down that the Fit was MY car, paid off, and just such a practical car.

Good job mate. I may have a go at making some for my GD1 before this winter.

This is of great interest to me... One trip down and up the driveway and my car is covered with fine dust.... My wife's Forester never becomes dusty.

Great job on the install, I really like it how you mounted them a little inboard instead of having them stick out so much. Looks really good

What model of car were those mud flaps made for?
Were they a straight fit, or did you have to cut them up quite a bit?

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate the compliments. As far as the hood deflector goes, I purchased mine from Zeta Products. I really love the mud guards so far. I've gotten several looks from many of the Honda guys in the Portland area already. I even got a thumbs up from a Subaru driver as well which I find pretty cool. I'm glad I did this and i'm very happy I was able to. I'll get more pictures for you all as soon as I can. We just got hit with some bad weather here in Oregon and I still haven't washed the car. Now that I think about it, screw washing the car, because my car isn't pretty anyways. My front bumper is messed up from a hit and run when I parked my car at a train station and I haven't had the concentration to get that fixed and probably will just save the money and not do it. Anyways, bring on the REP points and I should get more pics up tomorrow.

This one's in need of some of those. Our driveway's 3.5 miles of dirt.

To the people asking me what rally armor product I used, I apologize, I thought I was clear at first but I used Rally Armor BASIC MUD FLAPS UNIVERSAL fit. They're the cheapest line of mud flaps that Rally Armor offers. I used this one specifically because it is 1/4 the price of Urethane Rally Armor mud flaps and just in case I mess up (less guilty spending $$$).
