I have a 08 sport model and want to go wingless. i know how to remove the wing, but anybody have experience on how to cover up the holes? well i have seen a base model, and it has a flat plate where on the sports there is a wing. does this plate come off? is that plate where the sport mounts its wing? any help would be great.

 

The tailgate hatch has a different part number for the base and for the sport. I would assume the difference is the plate you are talking about. Buy a carbon fiber hatch? Not a cheap answer but it's the best I got for ya.
