Anybody been successful swapping 2nd gen engine to 1st gen Fit? Have a 2008 Sport with 240k, engine went bad. Got a good deal on a lightly used 2012 engine, found someone to install, and after a hell of a lotta work, it's in and running but won't rev over 3k. Pretty sure we got all the sensors swapped. Mechanic thinks we need to have dealer reprogram the ECU. Any
input would be appreciated..

You're using the L15A7 ECU right?

That's pretty cool you did the swap, you should include more details as far as what was involved, i'm sure many would be interested, especially those overseas stuck with the less fun small displacement GD motors.
