Just bought a 2001, GD1, 1.3 Fit from Japan (67,XXX Kms). I want to do maintenance for my peace of mind. Should I do anything more/less than the following:

1) Oil change
2) CVT Transmission fluid flush
3) Change Spark Plugs
4) Valve Adjustment

Note: I just got the car and I have the dreaded "shudder" with the Vehicle. *Damn*

 

I'm pretty anal when it comes down to road grip and stopping power.. so I would also check stuff like:

- brake pads
- tighten wheel nuts
- tyre pressures

other items that come to mind.. might not be that important (67k kms) isnt that bad

- coolant
- air filter
- other fluids - pwr steering, brake fluid

heck while you are at it, might as well check your windshield water bottle.

Im still searching to see if parts from the 2007 US fit models are compatible with my 2001 Japanese model. Im close to the US so i could get parts easier but im not sure if they are compatible? Any idea?
