Winter Floor Mats

So GD folks, have any all-season 'liners' hit the market for the Fit yet?

GE/GK folk get them...but when I was buying for my old GD I got stuck with plain old floor mats, are the options better now?

Or OEM all-season mats from Honda. Mine have last 8 years and 109000miles/175500kms.

I don't have them, but my friend has Weathertechs on her Q7 and they fit so nice. Totally worth the money I think.

Yeah, the weathertech ones have been out for a while; did you even look before you posted this thread?

Good deal. Going to buy front pairs for both the SFE and the GD. Will get rears for the GD in the future when we're not as strapped for cash, never for Fiesta. Back seat isn't usable

Nope, assumed WT hadn't released anything new in the three years since I'd bought my 'standard' WT mats.

OEM ones look good. I'm getting a set of those this winter. They are beauty in my opinion.

They don't cover enough surface area for winter IMO.

Oem are meh. Not enough coverage up front, wearing a little too much.

I agree with the all seasons being average. They don't cover much and the rubber seems to absorb and hold humidity. I always line my floor with folded newspaper (underneath the mats) and it looks ok and protects my carpet from horrible salt and slush that is inevitable in the winter.

With weathertechs, I'd probably just go bare. I'm thinking of replacing my whole carpet next spring. Might get weathertechs to protect a new carpet then.

Weather tech makes floor liners and all weather matts. If you are buying, you should go digital floor liners. More protection. Sits higher up.

So, just to wrap up this thread.

Bought a set of WeatherTech digital fit liners.

Fitment is mediocre, design is rather ugly, don't go up very high.

In comparison with the Aries liners in my GE, these rather suck. But they're the best the GD faithful get

Damn. Sucks to hear that. My buddy has em for his grand Cherokee and they fit great. I guess it's gonna have to be newspaper and the all seasons for now.

I've had the weathertechs for a while now, I could never go back to cheap all season's. I do wish they fully covered the dead pedal but no big deal.

What fitment problems are you noticing? I haven't noticed any.

Maybe I don't want to know, then I WILL notice them.

Near the seat/fuel tank area. The liner doesn't go all the way back, there's an inch gap between it and the seat rail.

Also, the rear mats are very lacking in coverage relative to OEM
