Weathertech floor mats

I'm looking into getting some weathertech floor mats. My 09 fit for some reason does not have the retention hooks on the driver side floor. Will this cause the mats I get to to slide around? Would you recommend I get the floor liner or the all-weather mats?

I have the hooks but even without I doubt they would move much. They are quite high around the edges so not much lateral movement.

At worst I suppose you could get the hooks from a dealer.

The all-weather mats have deeper sculpted channels that help trap liquid spills, mud, snow.

Definitely get the all weather mats. We have them for our Prius and they are super awesome. Well worth the investment. Agree about the bette protection from liquids and spills.

I found a set of the hooks in a civic at the wrecker and the fit the GD perfectly. They are probably fairly cheap at the dealer and just clip in.

Found a set of used weather techs locally and have the front in currently had the truck liner in last Thursday and was cleaning the garage and taking some used oil to the dump one of the bottles leaked and that liner saved me a lot of headache

Sounds nice find, got pics of them? One guy here got new weather tech and commenting on the color not as attractive as seen on the website.

Question

I think we paid around $200 or so for front, back and cargo.

Does your passenger side mat move around leaving gaps?
Mine tends to slide forward leaving about a 1 inch gap between the weather tech and where it's supposed to sit. The movement is most likely due to passengers pushing on the mat as they get in/out of the car. My driver side has the retaining clips, but i'd imagine the sliding to be even worse with that slippery rectangular plastic piece attached to the factory carpet.
