My curtain airbag went off from hitting a curb. I ordered a new curtain airbag as well as both sensors and a new SRS unit.

I can't find a shop manual anywhere that will show me how to replace this. I've figured out how to take the headliner off, and I know I need to disconnect the battery. However I don't know how to replace (or if I need to replace) the airbag sensors. I also don't know if I can reset the SRS module or if I have to replace it.

Any advice would be appreciated! This is a 2007 Fit Sport 5MT with 125k on the clock.

 

The second side sensor is in the lower B pillar trim. Still don't know where the first sensor is. It must be in the lower A pillar trim, but I can't find it.

 

Have you looked at the Honda Service Manual (HSM)? A quick look and it seems to answer all of your questions. There is a whole section on the SRS stuff, and I couldn't tell you all of it. There seem to be plenty on ebay right now (the thicker gray cover one), so you shouldn't have trouble picking-up a copy. You can also get them new from Helm. The Electrical Troubleshooting Manual is good too, but I think for this job the HSM should cover it. There used to be a digital service manual floating around, but I am not sure if it can be easily had anymore. I prefer the printed ones anyway.
