My fiancée got a totaled '08 fit with the sport package this summer. He's just finishing it up, but he can't figure out where the SRS module is to repair it so the new passenger airbag will work! We've looked everywhere online, and the dealer refuses to tell us because he wants the $700 to fix it. Everyone else in town just tells us to go to the dealer. Does anyone have information on this? I don't know if it would be something that would be in the manual, but since we got it totaled, it didn't come with a manual.

I know this is an old thread, but for anyone else looking, I found an SRS module in the actual passenger seat, directly opposite to the side airbag. Its where all the weight sensors plug unto. I am still trying to figure out how to remove it tho...

 

Be very careful and disconnect the battery and wait a bit before messing with the SRS. Look on youtube for the many airbag unintentional deployments you don't want one going off by mistake.
