Question I have issues after coil/plug replacement on 2007

Hello all I have an 07 Sport with 132,000 on it. 2 weeks ago on the way to work I heard a "ting". engine got loud and I lost power. Drove around the block parked it and borrowed a car for work. Total drive mileage at lost power may be a mile if that. Looked at the engine that day and the coil pack on what i assume is cylinder 3, 3rd from alternator was hanging out of the head. Bracket was broke and plug was also gone. Used an inspection camera and saw that the threads were gone. Verified by trying to run a plug in and it would not bottom out or thread. Ordered a Bishko service guide, new plugs, coils, gasket set and drive belt while I was at it. Brother in-law and I tore the top end down per the manual. Set TDC on cylinder 1 as instructed, then finished the tear down. Took the head and had a heli-coil installed. Put it back together and noticed our first issue. When the crank pulley was set to the TDC mark, our marks on the sprocket and chain no longer lined up. Seems the shop may have turned the cam for some reason? We went through the process and thought we had TDC all set again. Finished putting in together, then had to wait until last night when the coils and plugs came in. Gapped plugs to .045 and installed everything. Fit is very hard to start now, have to keep gas at least 1/2 throttle to keep it running. Runs rough and sounds like a valve tick. There is not backfires and doesn't seem to be misfiring. Almost sounds like the timing is retarded, not fast.
Any ideas where to start looking?

I dont much about cars but i do know about a faulty engine from a 2nd hand car i bought some years ago.

For starts, check compression on each cylinder, do a throttle bodies services and check, clean or change your filters

Easy answer is to do a valve adjustment, there's a DIY on here on how to do this.

Thanks Dery, that will be added to the list. After talking to a few Honda techs. pulled the intake and valve cover back off to verify that TDC on crank and cam matched. It all looks fine. It was at this time that we noticed a very sloppy rocker/valve on cylinder 4. Ran each cylinder on its TDC and the slop was still there even when 4 was TDC. Have determined that there is a bent valve on the intake side. Head is back off and going back to the machine shop today to see what they can do. Not sure why it's on cylinder 4 when the ejected plug was on 3, unless it caused one heck of a misfire when it blew and the fact I drove around the block home. Plan is to keep working on the repairs and hand the car off to my daughter as her starter car.

No problem, this valve ticking sound that you are hearing. Is it like metal tapping on metal?

yes it was metal on metal. Head is at the machine shop now. They see at least 1 bent valve, and are taking the cam out to inspect. Having new valve seats put in since they were part of my gasket set/ They are looking at all valves and valve guides.

Metal on metal would be a need of valve adjustment, that's what my bud told me to see if I needed a valve adjustment or not. 1 bent valve? Ouch
