Did the coil packs and plugs last year to remedy a bad recurring misfire issue at 110k on my 2007 Sport. Now at 122k I'm getting some hesitation or bucking occasionally especially after sitting in traffic. No codes from misfire this time. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Valve adjustment will fix your problem if you haven't done one yet.

 

I haven't done that. All I've heard about was coils & plugs. I haven't read through all the issues I guess.

 

did you clean injectors with cleaner lik gumout. wallyworld has good, NON ETHANOL, cleaners for about a bu\ck. run a couple cans in successive tanks.

I've been using Lucas FI Cleaner and Lubricant since the car was new at oil changes and sometimes between them. I changed the air filter and put a bottle of Chevron FI Cleaner in it today.
