08 fit sport headlight troubles

So I'm having troubles with my headlights and fog lights on my 2008 sport. Every time I put new bulbs in every on of them blows except for one low beam and I'm about to my wits end with it. I'm not too great with auto wiring or electrical so I'm really just looking for where to start and how to go about trying to figure it out.

First, try a different brand bulb. Some of the Silverstars are said to be prone to early failure. German Osrams are good.

When replacing the bulbs, wear clean latex or nitrile gloves, no skin oils should touch the bulbs.

Inspect the electrical connector's contacts for signs of corrosion. Use a conductive grease when re-fitting.

Finally, consider replacing your battery. It has been noted that weak batteries promote voltage spikes, which can blow bulbs.

Good luck!

Check your battery voltage when the car is running and report back.

Before you try different bulbs, what modifications have been done to your car, if any? More importantly, are there any modifications to the electrical systems? Are you the original owner?

Might want to go in for your recall, there's one for the headlights I believe. Check your vin number if it's included in the recall.
