tyres wearing out every year or so

have gd 2002 jazz, they have a floating suspension, which is causing a lot of wear on the tyres at the front. Have had tracking check every year for the last 2 years, after having a new tyre put on, also needs adjusting, never hit kerbs or gone around corners fast. Has anyone try to replace the top strut plate to a conventional system ie, top plate bolted to mounting chassis.if so what and where do i get the parts from.I'm sure the movement when turning the wheels is taking a different line, causing tyre wear. Especially when on tarmac turning slowly you can hear the scream of rubber.thanks i'm diy mechanic but i do not want to make the suspension worst than it already is.

Wear from turning the wheels (and them turning at different rates) at parking-lot speeds should not cause an excessive amount of tire wear. Look up "Ackerman Steering".

As a DIY, you should not second-guess the Honda engineers. How many miles are you talking? What size tires are fitted on the 2002? Do you rotate your tires on a regular basis (every 7 - 10K miles)?

Pictures of your worn tires would be useful.

Have you checked all the bushings and to top strut bearings? Ball joints? Tie rod ends?
