Help With Drive Belt

Hello,

I replaced the water pump on my girlfriends 07 fit this morning. Got everything put back together except I cannot get this new drive belt on. I have tried loosening the two bolts on the top of the alternator and tried to pry it with no luck. I am not having any luck breaking the third bolt of the alternator on the bottom right.

Does anybody have any tips for this?? I do not understand why Honda would make this so difficult to change when they could have just used a tensioner pulley like almost all other cars.

I have it jacked up and the splash shields off. I am trying to get the third bolt through the bottom but no luck.

I need to figure out a way to get this done or I will feel like a complete moron towing the car to a shop to have them complete installing the belt

How did you removed a belt at first place?
As for the alternator lower pivot bolt use 2 12" extensions and flex joint under socket (approach from the bottom, close to transmission housing)

I used my Wobble Extensions for the lower bolt on the alternator.

They aren't as 'floppy' as a true u-joint for the ratchet so it's easier to get it on the bolt underneath without it turning away from the 'target'.

Harbor Freight has both 3 piece sets and 9 piece sets...
