Engine mounts! Any recommendations?...

Are these mounts any good?

Amazon Amazon

... I don't need them to last 10 years, maybe just 5

Anybody tried them?

Honda parts are like $350 online, but most likely we are changing this car in less than a year and I already spend to much money in the last 2 weeks, if a can save with other brands with same oem quality, it would be helpful.

Thanks

I'm sure they are not OEM quality, but the price is tempting. Looks like the Honda parts are pricey.

I'd definitely want to get them through Amazon because some people have reported that the cheap aftermarket mounts are for non-USDM models and are slightly different. I'd try to compare before removing your mounts to make sure they look like a match.

Thanks GAFIT.

Idk. My mechanic said to stay away from generic parts like this, I would regret it. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy original Honda mounts.

Are they hard to replace?... I've seen only one video on you tube and I believe it's the easiest one to do... any other videos or DIY?

Thanks

just replaced the 2 mounts on right and left side, 189k miles and boy they were destroyed

Both sides are easy. Just right side engine mount has one bolt that for me was easier to get from underneath with a long extension.

Does anybody know what the red bolt is for?... the car runs perfect again with no more vibration so I didn't try to adjust anything

Looks to just hold the two parts together. I suspect it's red to tell you to not touch it. Honda likes blue for bolts that you're expected to remove. Maybe red is for "do not touch."

Thanks for the pics! I'll need to plan on doing ours soon since we are at near the same miles.

Makes sense GAFIT!

Just check for any visible damage, if your engine has some vibration or any excessive movement while going thru the gears. You could easily get confused thinking you have a rough idling engine. The car is so incredible smooth, feels so much better

Also get the honda oem. I bought all 3 mounts and still need to replace the rear mount, and even though I spend $349 I feel it was worth the money, those amazon mounts, I wasn't so sure It was going to be a perfect fit and same quality

Thanks and good luck, I'll post some more pictures when I do the rear

Thanks for the photos! I've read that the transmission mount is fluid filled, however it looks dry (or, perhaps, it's broken without damaging the fluid "blister"). the engine mount is fluid filled as well with internal membrane

Red bolt is for height adjustment maybe?
