2007 Fit front coil spring broken trouble sourcing replacement
I am in the middle of changing the original struts on my moms 2007 Honda Fit with 280,000 miles. Yes, and it's still going strong!
I've run into a bit of a problem as I only bought new KYB struts less the coil springs, thinking I could re-use the existing coils. But, as it turns out, the drivers side front coil is broken (missing about half a coil at the bottom) and I don't want to re-install it on the new strut.
It appears as though it's a very difficult part to source. I cannot seem to find many reputable stores online that stock it. We can find it on eBay for near $100, but that's a week out.
Does anyone have any leads on a part like this? Anyone know if other cars such as the civic interchange with it?
Thanks
