Second, 1st gen

In January 2007, I first felt the Fit love with a base in lunar mist with two tone beige black interior. We moved into our first house together in this car. Took her to our hometown for our wedding, and a year later brought home our daughter in her. ChiyoChan regularly got 40+ mpg.
I walked away, bumped and bruised but alive and nothing broken after I was stopped to make a left turn and was hit at 40-45mph by a large suv when the car had just hit 110k. With a crushed back passenger tire (blew as it was pulled on the tow) and the front driver's tire off the ground, I had to say goodbye in April 2013.

I was not a fan of 2nd generation Fits so I ended up with a civic. It got me from point a to point b but it was never love. A recent wreck blew the radiator so it was totaled.

In my online browsing for a vehicle, I came across a 2007 Fit S in vivid blue pearl. A salvage title due to road debris damage to the fuel tank (since replaced). Only 130k and no major work other than the fuel system. Keihatsu will hopefully get me another 130k. I'll figure out how to upload pics later. 😊

That is quite a history. I'm sorry for your loss, however it sounds like those lows just amplified the highs. Welcome back to the fit life

Welcome back. I've always wondered how one would get insurance for a salvage title vehicle. Is it a problem?

State Farm and Progressive both were able to offer insurance with no issues
