Rear driver side floorboard is soak!

so I have 07 fit with 239k on it. I rarely drive it now due to my new car and work vehicle but I got into it the other day and notice the back driver side floorboard completely soaked. It’s a lot of water and it won’t dry due to the fact it is winter right now. It rained all morning today and it definitely doesn’t seem like the window is leaking at all. What’s the deal does anyone know??? Also I haven’t been using the AC at all

Is the trunck wet at all? My 08 Fit just got rear ended and in working on the damage i noticed the rear end leaking into the spare tire well and almost filling it up. I drilled a hole through the bottom to drain it and patched up whatever I could find around the seems but it seems to still be leaking in around the tailight.

You know what I noticed a long time ago that I had water in my spare tire compartment but I just blew it off. Maybe something to do with that?

I had the same issue in my 2008 Fit, the spare tire well filled up with water and it sloshed in to the rear seat floor. It ended up being in the runners on the roof under the plastic strips. I had hairline cracks there at the back near the hinge for the hatch, both sides. Use silicon to seal and I haven't had a problem with it since.

The rear hatch rubber seal tends to go bad and leak had same problem with mine i put two drain holes in the spare wheel weel helped but get a new rubber for the tail gate and should be good or maybe the door seal the get twisted quite easy and that can cause a leak hope this helps

I had the same problem with mine. For me, it was the rear doors leaking into the car. I followed a few tutorials and took the door panel apart, and sealed some holes as best I could. I haven't had any leaks since...but I do have a mildewed carpet to fix now.
