Hey all,

I'm wondering if there's any way to figure out the specs for the GE Fit engine bay. I know there's GD Fits running K20 swaps, but I don't know how much the GD bay varies from the GE. Anyone know where I could come across this info?

Basically, I want to know if all K20 engines will fit under the hood! I know, with certain amounts of fab work, any engine will fit, but I mean, within reason, minimal frame-cutting, will I have any problems with say, a K20z1, z3, a3, or any of them?

Nah, man, I didn't see that. I checked that jdm-th.com site and it was another forum and unless I know Thai I don't think I'm gonna get anywhere that way. Thanks tho, gives me a little more to work with!

 

taking a look into both bays n figuring the differences...length, width, height, brackets/mounts etc...

 

Yeah, shazaam, we gotta get together sometime so I can measure your engine bay, or compare that way! If a K20 fits in yours, it should prolly fit in mine, I'd guess.

 

from what i've heard, the k20 will fit into the GE bay easier than the GD bay.

 

yea doesn't bother me any. get one of the guys with an rsx on base to help out to lol.
