According to some members on here, PRM intake is the best. jdmchris dynoed his car with no other mods and made 5whp more.

I have a PRM, got more MPG(1.5 to 2 mpg gain), can't speak on actual gain in power but the Fit feels to pull a bit harder than stock..

i didn't go with RPM because it looks like the surface area of filtration was very low... as in... probly the lowest out of all the intakes including stock...

i almost got an injen because of that black wrapping thing it came with, i thought it looked cool, but i got a takeda just for the filter it came with (pro dry s filter by Afe)

injen intake is 1 aluminum elbow and all the rest is silicon so there is not much heat soak.

save your money and just modify your stock intake.

i dont feel a difference between my modified intake and my fujita cold air.

i just got 37 mph average with my modified. and i at times i got stuck in bad traffic and i was gunning it alot.

to me for the fit, its just for sound .

My car has had a CAI and SRI while it was NA and it is now boosted with a louvered hood and inter cooler and I can assure you that high intake temperature has a much more negative effect on a boosted engine..... While my car was NA a road hazard accident damaged my CAI and I removed the lower damaged section of it and mounted a new filter on the part attached to the throttle body and was pleasantly surprised with the difference in performance and fuel mileage..... I can tell that I am going to have to get methanol/water injection if I am going to have the same power output in the summer that I have in the winter with boost.

Could you elaborate why? Cosmetics? Or because of legit dyno results?

^Replies like this aren't helpful.

This isn't a CAI popularity contest...he's asking which intake to buy. At least qualify "awesome." Dyno results would be preferable to "I like the noise" or "I like the color." Even, "it feels like it pulls harder" is better than the above.

Im biased but I have the WR CAI and its modular so you can make it a SRI when you want to.

There is a sticky thread on this subject most will get equal result ie 4-5 whp. The last station powerbox is expensive but I think it tops most in mid to peak power.

lol well the sri i hate got really hot and didnt sound that great but it was better than stock and only cost $40. The injen sounds great, pulls harder and looks great. make youre own decision though.
