Another switchback mod

ohanahuichubbz started a thread a couple years back about switchbacks and since I had a similar setup with my LED parking lights I figured I'd do this mod to complete the setup, much better looking and bound to get more looks than some expensive angel eye headlights on carID or something, IMO. Not sure exactly how ohanahuichubbz did his, but the mod has been done, required some serious modding from my buddy (he's an electrical genius) But I will say the parts needed were two 1157 switchback bulbs, in which I got from JLC lighting, 06-11 Civic turn signal connectors and sockets, electrical prongs to go inside of the connectors, new wiring helps (since the Honda wires are somewhat flimsy) and resistors, which needed to be soldered into the rear turn signals according to JLC, without them, they will hyperflash and if they're in the front they will function both the amber and the white when the turn signal is engaged (they're suppose to alternate) For the front, it's better to clamp the wiring into the connectors rather than solder. But I must say, I am happy with my lights now! Looks like a Lexus! Getting a lot of stares now I already posted this in his thread but no one was replying so I figured I'd start this one, I mean I must be the second person to do this mod right?Name: 108_zps9c8cac66.jpg

Good job. I always wanted to know which sockets had to be used to do that. Does the resistors get super hot when just the lights are light up or only when they flash? Could post a vid or pictures of how it is wired up? Thanks.

I could make a video in regards to that, My buddy did most of this, I can't credit him enough, however if I meet up with him soon we'll get a good descriptive video up!
