I was sat in my GE today looking through the smaller front side-windows, wondering if anybody has made mirrors that fit to the plastic covers? I will get some pictures up of what I mean exactly, but I'm thinking of designing some. The only problem would be depleting the existing mirrors, and finding replacement panels to cover where they sat.

In a way, this is a guaging interest type thread, but I was just wondering if anybody knew of any, or would be interested in helping me design a couple?

You are talking about having the side mirrors mount to the black plastic right in front of the little window? That would work with some wide angle mirrors, would remind me somewhat of the older Japanese cars with the side mirrors mounted out on the front of the fenders.

 

That's the exact inspiration I had for designing them! I might just start on some drawings and such today actually!
