Fit Side Mirrors

I was wondering if anyone noticed that the Fit's Side mirrors look exactly like S2000 Mirrors? I just drove my S2000 and then looked at some of the Fit pictures and was suprised at how much they look alike.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

I was thinking that they were very similar last night. The one thing about those types of mirrors is that there are few options to modify them in the future.

I was disapointed that the side mirrors didn't have turn signals. Scion xA does. I think it's a safety feature, especially in a little car.

You can get the side mirrors with the indicators on them.

Has anyone on here actually tried custom fitting some sexy craftsquare mirrors? Or something similar?

Id really like to know too. I e-mailed APR about making CF mirrors for the Fit and they said that there are no plans at this time.

Has anyone tried fitting aftermarket (APR, Craftsquare, etc) made for the S2000 on the Fit?

Yeah, they have C-West mirrors, but they used the C-West bases. They must have repainted the whole door (and probably the whole car) or else there would be holes where the OEM holes were and also a groove where the OEM mounts.

Probably just painted the patched holes, maybe a little around it and did hardcore blending.

The Hybrid Civic mirrors are almost identical also. Where they mount on the car is a different shape. I think theyre bigger also. Hybrids have signals on the mirrors though. I was going to get a set and try and figure a way to get them on the car. Theyre noticeable bigger. Might look ugly.

The BOM one was in SEMA. I doubt they did it half assed.

Could always try to order some mirrors from the JDM Fits, last I knew they came with the led mirrors.

I saw Fit mirror covers on eBay that had turn indicators in them. They were chrome, but I'm sure they can be stripped and painted.

Any updates on that? I'm interested in those:
APR Performance - Honda S2000 Formula GT3 Mirrors

They look really nice on the s2k:

I've often wondered if those would fit. Simular looking base. Someone will have to buy some and see if it fits.
