Turn Signal Bulb?

Does anyone know what type bulb I need for the rear turn signal? Is it printed on the bulb? In texas turn signal bulbs can be red or amber in the rear, and I am looking to get a red LED replacement. Would this fit? Red 7440 T20 Blinker Turn Signal LED Lights Bulbs L34: eBay Motors (item 130366027777 end time Jun-09-10 20:49:58 PDT)

Based on what I know - that should work. If you are going to go with something out of the ordinary that people are not used to seeing, then make sure those suckers are bright. Turn signals are one thing I am weary about messing with, and in your case, the LEDs need to be super reliable, otherwise you are setting yourself up to get rear ended. Just some things to think about.

edit: oh yeah, those particular ones you posted are not going to be very bright. Check out a reputable site like autolumination and get some SMTs.

Rear turn signals are 7440.

U could go with those ones on ebay, but remember they are forward facing LED's only, so its not gonna be as bright as all direction facing led's. I'd recommend these:

Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs

Go down til u see the 15led ones selling for $7.99 each. These are the same type of design u have chosen, however it comes with side facing led's to fill out the reflector area.

If ur a real baller, get the SMT Tower III for $12.99. There is a bigger amount of LED's and it'll really be bright!

Oh btw if ur gonna change ur turn signals to LED's, u gotta get a load equilizer to prevent it from hyperflashing.

LED Flashers Blinkers Resistors Load Equalizers for Turn Signal Replacement Bulbs Rapid Flashing Fix

Go down til u see the 3 OHM DELUXE ALUMINUM ones. They are $8.99 each and u need 2 of them.

Or u can get some from ur local pepboys or kragen, they usually sell them.

A 10W 10Ohm wirewound resistor from radioshack works as a load resistor. I have some on my civic for my front turn signals.. Only downside is you gotta get creative on how to mount them. 3M double sided tape doesn't work because they get kinda hot..

Only $2 and they come in a pack of 2.

Hey guys,

my first post I've got a Taffeta White 2009 VTi-S (Honda Jazz as I am Australian )

Just looking to replace my turn signal bulbs to 'chrome' indicators. So far I know that the rear bulbs are 7440 T20 Wedge, the front signal bulbs are ??? (7507 bayonet?) and the side signal bulbs are 194 T10 Wedge?

Could someone confirm these bulbs? I'm looking to get bulbs from autolumination.com (superlumination.com?)

Thanks in advance

also, what advantages do the LEDs have over normal bulbs? they seem a bit more complicated so set up?
