I picked up a pair after seeing your photo. I definitely could use some visibility at night. Right now I'm using some pnp hid kit with no retrofit. I'll go back to hids once I retrofit $33 bucks shipped on ebay

you guys that are using the harness, are you using the ones that just connects from the oem wiring into harness into bulbs? or are you guys using the ones that connect from battery with a relay?

I want to run higher watt bulbs and want to protect my oem wiring so I want to use a harness, but which one should I get? which one offers more protection?

In the comparison photos, I don't see them being "brigther" but rather just different color shade. Are their output strength further than OEM and actually brighter?

Gotta read in the (). Its computer generated. Thats why i had the member on this thread post pix from his car. Was totally different. I plan on installing the regular 55watt ones in my moms car when she goes on a trip. I'm pretty sure i'm doing 3800 or 5800.

Are these ok to run nokya stage 2s without worrying about melting oem wiring?

From what I've read , yes.. Which I believe is what the harness is for..

Factory harness clips into new harness which clips into the new light.. Couldn't be any easier

I use Sylvania ZXEs. Brighter than OEM, especially with the brights. Bought them for a night drive to Edmonton a couple years ago. They're also whiter in colour, which I find makes it easier to see.

So I did end up picking these up, the Nokya Stage 2 with harness.

I was definitely hoping for better, way too blue for my taste and output is not that great. It's not terrible but not as good as other offerings. A 5000k in the same bulb would probably be better, the blue kills the output. They look nice though.

I'll probably run them for a little while and just get Osrams again. After trying

- Osram Nightbreakers
- Silverstars
- Phillips Extremevision
- Standard Phillips
- Nokya 7000k Stage 2

I liked the Nightbreakers the best.

Why are you guys burning money on crap like these bulb trying to copy the look of HID but getting close to the performance. In order for halogen bulbs to reach the performance of 35watt HID kits, they'd need to be 100watts. While doing this when the headlights start to melt because they were never made to handle that much heat, don't be mad at anyone but yourselves when you not only have to replace the stock wiring but also replace the whole headlight assemblies @ almost $1k. So 100watt HID look alike or 80.00 real HID that burn cooler than the stock 55/60 Watt bulbs.

The Nokya come with a high heat harness to keep the plug from melting. I know it doesn't help the actual draw, but it's just for the plug.

They say 80W-100W... they're actually 65W, that's just an advertising gimmick. That's not much more current draw if you do the math. I've been checking the wiring and it doesn't really get hot at all.

I'm slightly concerned about the power draw, but not about the housings melting.

You are right that HID is the best option. I've found out i'm not a huge fan of the Nokyas, but it was worth a shot for $35 to see for myself.
