Honda Fit 2011 side markers
Hello all! I am new to this forum.
I got a base Fit 2011 Azure blue metallic and i haven't done much modding yet.
I would like to change the side marker bulbs. Got some white LEDs one at a very cheap price at my local autoshop but they ain't that bright.
I saw some cool SMD LEDs
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-194-168-T10-W5W-White-7-5W-Hi-Power-SMD-LED-License-Plate-Parking-Side-Light-/221542175561?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2011%7CMake%3AHonda%7CModel%3AFit&hash=item3394f15349&vxp=mtr
and i wanted to know if they will fit my fit.
I mean they are 194 bulbs but they are 7.5w each.
Does anybody know if 7.5w side marker bulbs are compatible?
I don't want to fry any wiring or anything as i know putting a higher wattage bulbs enhance the risk to fry the electrics.
Also, if anybody have the actual watt for the OEM bulbs it would be great.
Thanks guys!

Take a look on this
Yellow corner lights as DRL?
Something that you'll not regret, are brilliant even in a sunny day!!!
Do not trust in the POWER in Watts for LEDs, normally the sellers put that value saying that function like a std bulb of 7.5W, you must go and verify the real power comsumption.

Hello Luis!
Thanks a lot for the tip! I've checked the bulbs on the link. Wow 50w!
Pure white LEDs as side marker/parking lights would be amazing!
I'm just wondering,
won't 50w draw too much power from the socket? Since the OEM bulbs are 3.8w as mentioned in the comments above, won't it cause the wiring to heat up and fry? (Just i heard happened to ppl who used 100w bulbs instead of 55/60w H4s for the headlights)
And btw, your Fit is magnifique! Mine looks very similar to yours!
I have the silicone pads for doors and cups holders, i have the iVtec SOHC sticker and the red badges!
Quel coincidence! Will post pics when i have some time.

Don't worry about that 50W, it does means lights up like a 50w incandescent bulb, if you go to TECHNICAL DATA and see Power Consumption = 4.2W, does means a little bit more power than the stock bulb (in my case the stock is 5W not 3.8W)
Thanks for your comments and hope to see your pics soon
