Well I haven't actually ordered it yet,but am pretty set on getting the Alpine iDA-X305SBT head unit from Crutchfield. It seems to have everything I want and nothing extra. The only real downside is the price. At $400 it's pretty steep. That does include the bluetooth adaptor. I am wondering about installing the mic for BT. I know that it comes with a visor clip,but am thinking that installing it in the headliner would be better. I was also thinking of putting on the dash behind the steering wheel. That would seem to be the easiest install location. If I decide to put up on the headliner,how do I run the wire? Is it just straight up in front of the door? I'm also concerned that the mic wire might not be long enough to do that. It is listed at 9.5 feet. A little guidance and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like I'll have to pay a shop to install the radio and BT mic.
