Angry TPMS constant replacement

I have gone through at least 4 or 5 TPMS sensors in the last maybe 2 years. I've always had them replaced at Firestone, and maybe that's the problem?
I don't honestly care about the warning light, and I think the TPMS is a stupid addition that was mandated to all cars, especially when it doesn't give me which tire is low, just that there's an issue.
Anyone know how to disable the warning light? I'm tired of paying 85$+ each time this happens.
I drive in Philly, so that's probably why they keep breaking, due to pot holes.
But honestly, it's just so much more annoying than it's worth.

Black electrical tape over the warning light worked great for me when I had the spare in the rotation. But I think that most people's experience here doesn't match yours. I had a 2010 for six years, a bunch of tire replacements, 100,000 miles, and I don't think I ever replaced a sensor.

Is it always the same one going bad? Maybe they use crappy none OEM ones.

Electrical tape is good if the light bothers you.

I don't think it's the same one each time. but I do think it might be whomever Firestone buys from, hence not returning there anymore.
I will have to put some tape up, that might be the best solution.

had this same light a few months back.
took it to costco and found and replaced one bad sensor only.
so far so good, but i think it will be one by one process in the future.
did it because the car may pass inspection.

thanks
