Hi people, I'm new here. I'm having a good crunch feel on my 5th when I push it in gear. Car is sport 2012 and has 149 000 kilos, just bought it 3 weeks ago. Can you buy your synchros elsewhere than the dealer or is it just like the old S2000 and nobody does them... ?

From my limited searching, I think it is Honda-only.

 

My buddy need one (5th gear synchro) and dealer couldn't find one at all. I think his clutch fluid was low and everything was still moving (clutch didn't disengage completely) when he had to jam it into gear for several wks. Damage done.

 

I previously rebuilt my S2000 2005 transmission and all the shynchros came as synchro sets. We are talking here that it comes with the synchro, sleeve and slider. The cost is pretty expensive loll.

Im in Quebec and found the price of the Fit kits on Torontohondaparts. Each sets are between 350 to 590 Can$. We have 3...

 

Not sure if this is the correct part number, but they seem to be available individually in some cases, it just requires some digging.
