Basic Starter Mod

Basic Starter Mod
I have a completely stock 2009 honda fit Sport, it has been extremely well maintained, I want to get a starting point for mods, does anyone have a suggestion for a few mods to start with?

Wheels and tires are a nice upgrade, and can really change the look and feel of the car. I think the first mod I did was add yellow tint-film to my fog lights. Sets it apart just a little from the dozens of other Fit's around...

This was my starter mod. All paint, no vinyl. I can just about guarantee I'm the only Fit with this but I'd love to be proven wrong.
But to actually answer your question lighter wheel and tire combinations are like free horsepower.

Theres bunches of way old threads on here for mods, but I know searching can be tricky, sincerely.
As mentioned, you pretty much always start with wheels.
If you want a little more pep, intake exhaust and premium fuel (with ecm reflash courtesy of one of the k-tuner guys), properly re-adjusted valves, ik22 spark plugs, if you're auto-trans check out a throttle controller, if you're manual, 01-05 civic clutch master cylinder, clutch pedal height adjustment, short shifter.. yada yada.
You can remove and bypass air conditioning, but everyone turns that down. Clean your electrical grounds!
If you're in a warm climate you can attempt downsizing to a powersports battery. Weight is boring, but if you've ever had a large individual sit in with you, feel the suspension sag and smell the brakes on a steep grade.. slotted rotors are one..
Been playing with the t-rev too, it works, acts like a lightened flywheel without the loss of momentum akin to a heavy stock one..
