Good price? 2013 Sport Manual. 45,000 miles. $10,500. Would be my first Fit.

Doing some research I’ve decided I want to stay with a second gen Sport or EX and a manual transmission. I found this example nearby at a dealer:
Is this a decent price or should I be negotiating for a better deal? Ad says it’s their internet price.

Is this a dealer? If so, you pay the margin and may know nothing of the car's history.
I try to buy directly from original owner who can provide copies of all maintenance receipts. Carfax is not 100% reliable.
Spend $100 for your independent mechanic to look at it for problems and his or her opinion. If seller won't let you do that, find one that is not hiding the truth.
For price reference, last autumn we picked up a 2011 Fit Sport Automatic with 64k miles for about $6,500 from original owner. Owner had spent about $5,000 in maintenance at the dealer, which was documented with original invoices. Car had a very small dent and needed 2 tires. Otherwise in awesome condition.

I bought my 2013 Base Model in 2017 with 9k miles (clean title/1 owner) from a Honda dealership for about 8k. I would negotiate a lower price if this the exact car you want.
If not, like the Fiting has mentioned try to buy from a owner with detailed maintenance records.
These cars are fun to drive (even though it lacks torque) and tons of utility for its size, welcome to the Fit club.

Inspect and buy it!!!
I would purchase this car in a freaking heartbeat! As a guy that uses the hell out of his automobile, I know the fit to be the shit!
Why? Because of the experience I've had with my own 2010 Fit. And I wish she were a manual, my God!
Especially if you know absolutely nothing about automobiles, I would reccomend this platform second to a Toyota product.
I use my fit in Alaska. The product has been a Fairbanks car since the start. This car of mine has been through frozen and fried hell and back. I really should post photo proof!
I've sank my car in 45ish gallons of diesel.
The previous owner took this car "mudding" regularly, and somehow tweaked the subframe. God damn if the alignment isn't still perfect. (But the front bumper sticks out now!)
It went through 7 years of -40 Fairbanks winters. (Albeit my Fit is winterized)
I, personally drive my Fit about a thousand miles a week, no kidding.
She just rolled over 156K ODO. I've been waiting for ANY part to show signs of failure since I've came to the vehicle at 69K. All I've had to replace were the brakes (because I drive like a jerk), a battery, and do a valve adjustment at 80K, and again at 150K ODO for sanity sake. aside from fluid maintenance, I pretty much run this sewing machine to the engine's top every day without thinking a bit about it.
With my auto trans, I average 30MPG city and about 35 highway MPG. My personal best was 45MPG on a 150 mile stint without the interior seats or cargo. I average 400 miles per 11 gallons, my best was about 475 per tank whilst trying to "hypermile" from Fairbanks to Anchorage when I was strapped for cash... not much difference but it did help! Honda fuel/emissions has their stuff down!
I freaking love my car so much that I keep it looking trashy, because glass is expensive and its otherwise difficult to hotwire the Honda for theft. I dont want anyone to think the car is worth breaking into, because it really is....
I dunno, the choice is yours! But please, for the love of GOD dont purchase any FCA product.

You should be able to talk them down at least $700, so that would be total price of $10,300 including $500 in doc fees (but excluding inspection, title, tags and sales tax). I'd say that's a fair price assuming car is in at least very good condition with no significant events in its history.
Make sure no spark plug blowout-related issues, btw.

I'd say that's a little high. 4 years ago I paid $13,500 for a certified 2012 automatic sport with 40K miles at a dealership. Though I must say the car is reliable, comfortable, and gets amazing mileage (44 mph at times on the highway...) Plus as a bonus that tiny Vtech engine that lets me buzz around a slower car like a Vespa -- and you should see the look on their faces when I do that.
