Battery/ Radio ?

Ok, this might be a lame question but here it goes..... (09 Sport, no navigation), I disconnected the battery, and took it out, in order to take off all the air box junk, inorder to get to the inner throttle body to clean it. Car has 80k on it and it has never been done. Boy am I glad I cleaned it as it was bad. Car now is better then ever B U T.....I have no radio ! The dash reads 'E N T E R C O D E'. According to the manual I need a specific code. It says I should have a card (never had one as I bought the car used) that has an audio code and serial number........if I don't have this card and numbers I'm supposed to visit the Dealer #$%$^%&! Is there any other way to retrieve this code?

I forget the buttons to press, but if you Google it, you should be able to find out which buttons you are to press to bring up the radio ID. Using this ID number, and possibly the VIN, you should be able to get the code from any dealer.

You should also be able to get it here, but again you will need the radio ID.

The dealer will give the code but not likely over the phone. They might need your key as well to look up like they did for my old 2002 Honda.

call the service advisor explain what you did and ask nicely for it- they might give it out over the phone

The dealer can get it or you can register on the Honda Owners site and you are supposed to be able to get it there by entering the info. I haven't tried that though. When I bought mine used, the dealer insisted there was no code required although everything I had seen/read indicated there was. I finally told him to disconnect the battery so we would know for sure. Low and behold, they were able to lookup the code for it...

As mentioned above...check for a sticker on the side of the opened glove box. Mine was 9 years old when I bought it and it was there.
