Bulbs for the A/C Light

Hey guys,

My little blue AC Light has been out for as long as I can remember. I want to replace it, but I'm not keen on ordering a $5 part with $100 shipping from America (I'm in australia).
I recently updated all my interior lights with LED ones I got from SuperBrightLEDS, and I was hoping that i'd be able to find an LED variant of the A/C indicator bulb too.

I believe the bulb-type you are looking for is T5. You should be able to find this style anywhere (Amazon, local auto store).

The hardest part of replacing those bulbs is the lack of access. You basically remove the entire lower dash. I looked into doing it for my 09' rear defrost light, but didn't want to commit.

If you're dexterous, you could get away with only removing the radio, then reach around through there and/or using a short-ish flat tip screwdriver to press the clips on the side of the buttons.

That's how I've done it when replacing my A/C button (the contacts keep fusing and then breaking).
