5mt clutch chatter bang
5mt clutch chatter bang
So almost 3 years ago I purchased a 2010 base 5mt with 38k.... I'm now at 59k. For anyone out there with the manual transmission, does anyone have a problem when taking off when the car is cold? When I take off in the morning when the car is cold the clutch feels like it chatters/bangs enough where the whole car shakes it's been doing it ever since I bought the car and I'm just noticing it again because the weather is getting colder. If I ease off the clutch and ease on the gas it's ok, if I drive it normal and am a little more aggressive it'll chatter through 1st and 2nd. Once it's warmed up and driven for a while it goes away, and it really didn't do it during summer months. I've never had this happen before on any of my cars. Is this a common Fit thing? My clutch is in no way slipping or feels like it's going bad. I know that I'm not driving it bad in any way, I have an 05 TL I bought new with 140k and still on the original clutch.
