Radio code for ‘09 Fit

Hello,
I got a new battery and need to enter the radio code. I retrieved the serial number and got the 5 digit code but it has two 9’s in it. not sure how this can work because I only have buttons 1-6. And yes i’m positive it’s the code, not the serial number.

There should be a sticker on the inside of the glovebox with the code on it. If you don't have the navigation radio you should only have the numbers 1-6 as your code.

Any Honda dealer will tell you what your code is if you bring it in.

EDIT:. there is a tool online for determining your radio code. It requires your VIN and radio serial number.

Yes, I used the online tool for getting the code using my VIN and radio serial number. The code I received is 5 digits but had two 9’s. I have no sticker in the glove box or anywhere else on the vehicle nor did the vehicle come with a manual. I also do not have
a navigation radio.

Then you have me in a bind. There isn't a reference to anything more than 6 digits in the factory service manual. Might be time to talk to a Honda dealer.

When I needed a code for a 2009 about 7 years ago I called the 1-800 for Honda listed in the Owners manual and they not only gave me the code but stayed on the phone until I got it entered correctly and go tthe radio working again.

Just to make sure that you are looking in the right place....my sticker is on the outside of the glove box bin. Need to open it and look on the left side of it near the hinge.

My code is 65543 which was in with all the manuals. Not that it helps you, but at least it shows nothing above a 6.
