2010 Honda Fit base ECU module
2010 Honda Fit base ECU module
After replacing the engine my friend who helped me with assembly, connected the wires for the oxygen sensors together and also connected together the wires going to ECU module from the O2 sensors. Result was the faulty ECU with O2 sensor error codes P0135 and P0141 for both sensors. I took the car to the dealership and asked them to recode the ECU module, but it did not work, ECU did not respond. I am looking for the matching ECU module, my ECU number was 37820-RP3-A54 but I found a bunch of similar numbers and wonder how to see if the ECU will fit my car. I checked out that ECU modules for 2009-2010 are both working in my car but even the ECU for the same year come with different numbers, like A53 or A54. Thank you
You want an identical ecu because you think the one you got was messed up by the joining of o2 sensor wires?
I'm not an electrician, but i think the interaction between the o2 sensors and the ecu are pretty mild.. like .. just a lil signal voltage. maybe i'm misunderstanding? in every case where someone's done wire work and had a new issue after.. its been my experience that someone messed up in a way that only they could figure out
it sounds like your question could be handled by the honda parts counter rep. just visit/call n ask about the part number.. if they just updated the PN because of a software update or whatever.
