Sluggish shift in RPM

Hey everyone I purchased my 2013 honda fit sport automatic back in May, I've been noticing lately that the RPM shifts really sluggishly particularly at high speeds, I also notice my car makes a weird sound almost sounds like electricity? I know it sounds weird...I tried looking around online for similar sounds but haven't seen anything it's a little concerning and really hope nothing serious is wrong with the car. I've already had the oil changed at Meineke where they said they checked the fluids and transmission fluid and said everything was fine. You can hear the weird sound at around 42 seconds in hopefully it is heard even though there's road noise and the a/c is on.

here's the link for the video

How many miles are on the car?
You can check the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) dip stick by the battery. Have a clean paper towel in hand:
1. Is it at the right level on the stick?
2. What color is the fluid? Brand new Honda DW-1 ATF is red.
3. What does it smell like? If dark, it may have a burnt smell.

Don't know how handy you are but you can change your own ATF for less than what a dealer will charge and you can do a more complete change (+95% all new) than what the dealer will do unless they have an expensive pump / suction / continuous system.

Finally, there's a filter in the system (external to the transmission and it may be clogged and restricting the flow of ATF.

Report back with answers to those questions.

Is your aux cord loose/volume up on the stereo with nothing playing?

I think the shifting is likely a separate issue. Provided that your fluids are indeed good, I'd check general maintenance items. There's no way out without highlighting my ignorance of how transmissions function (never had to work on one), but I'd say that if the engine/"driveline" is bogged down in any way, car may have trouble getting to its shift points.
Basic junk like plugs, air filter, alignment.

There's nothing playing on the radio, will probably have spark plugs checked soon, Had the air filter and cabin filter? Changed in May when they did the oil change and fluid checks, was wondering if the engine hesitation could possibly be from spark plugs? I know I was reading online that fits are notorious for issues with lose spark plugs and coil pack issues

I also use an aux cord to play pandora off my phone cuz the bluetooth comes through quiet. I mention because the sound reminded me of when it's not clicked in all the way. Even if nothin's playing it'll pick up some kinda noise.
There was a service bulletin put out saying that some fits didnt get their plugs tightened, but it didn't cover mine. And yet! They were a little loose, not enough to trigger the check engine light, but enough to matter. The original torque specification for spark plugs was 14 foot-pounds. It's since been revised to 20, which means that.. they just weren't tightened enough at the factory. Once thats done they're fine. I'd say that absolutely every owner should check because if one comes out, its bad, the top of the engine (cylinder head) will likely crack, requiring replacement.

I just pulled this comment up, after trying to change my transmission filter on a 2013. I had found a comment with some pictures from a first generation, and figured I'd give it a go. I thought it was supposed to be under the battery, but I don't see any hoses going under, and I can't feel anything. Could you give me an idea where it's located? Thanks!
