Diagnosis help: Loud whine when backing up after 4hrs

When I back up in the mornings, or after the car has sat for a few hours, there is a loud whine that comes from the front of the car. It's different from the break-squeels and only happens in reverse (if I back into the driveway at night, no noise in the morning).

Not sure where to start with this, I assume it's a transmission issue. I guess try a fluid change? It hasn't been many miles since my last... 15-20k.
I'm at 210,000, it's an '07 Base Automatic
THANKS!!

Red face

You can hear the normal whirr under this noise. I took a video for the sound... youtube seems the easiest to post it? I can edit and delete if you know a better spot. OH! Forgot, it's all the time now, the morning/4hrish cool down is no longer a condition...

(youtube link - maybe start the volume low... not sure how to describe the sound, it's pretty awful)

I hear a buzz-saw noise. Sounds like metal on metal.

While it could be the tranny, I'll hazard a guess. Warped rear drums.

Rear drum auto adjusters may be dirty and not working so the shoe is loose.

Thanks, I'll pop off some tires tonight and see what the breaks look like. Her calipers do have a history of jamming a little and burning through pads... I've tried cleaning them up a few times, maybe it's time to let them go.

Going to agree with the others sounds like some loose in the brakes. More then likely the rears

So embarrassed

It was the brakes... I had assumed break noise would be consistent in forwards and reverse, but who knows. Here's a pick of the old pads, the rotors didn't feel too awful... I'll inspect the shoes/drums later in the week to make sure the adjustments right. I feel like I just did the breaks.... but we put a lot more miles on the car then I think and the calibers have jammed a few times - burning through pads (I've since rebuilt them) so I don't by the high end pads.... anyways.

Thanks for the advice!!!!

These might be at the end of their life:

They still have 50 miles...

Had same thing fixed on 2008 Accord. When wear sensor is at the BOTTOM position, then noise will be present at reverse
