Just bought 2 sets of Dolphin parking sensors, one front with buzzer and switch and the other is rear with small screen/buzzer.
These are for my Daughter’s ‘new’ Honda Jazz 1.4 SI 2013 in Orchid White.

I have fitted sensors before to other cars I have had so I do have a bit of a clue. HOWEVER....

Dry day today so started out on the rear set....bumper off....holes drilled.... sensors fitted and cabled through into Near Side of rear.... Connected to Dolphin control box and screen/buzzer attached..... power taken from Near Side reversing light unit by connecting sensors red power wire to green lamp wire and black wire to black earth wire on lamp socket wire. I also tried a separate earth point

However, no power was found even although the reversing lights were both lit with gear lever in reverse and ignition on.

How can that be?

Surely the sensors must be connected through the reversing light wiring for them to operate.

I did swap over the Dolphin control box from the other sensor kit but no difference.

Anyone any ideas??
