Are there any UPGRADE Fit side mirrors? (stock ones look 'distorted' and 'unnatural')

Nice thanks for the updates!
These sound perfect. Might have to get a set for whenever i put my stock mirrors on.

For the past year or so i have been running the spoon replica mirrors which have the blue convexed hydro glass. aside from the inconvenience of loosing far distance detail...i have grown very fond of them as they have eliminated all blind spots at practical distances (changing lanes, merging, etc) even being half the size of the OEM mirrors.

In any case, the problem has been solved: new aftermarket mirrors.

I bought a single Burco passenger side mirror (the cheapest on Amazon, cheaper than driver's side) to see if these mirrors also feature the distortion effect and the answer is: NO!!! I got lucky on the first try!!!

That's right, these cheap aftermarket mirrors are better than Honda factory OEM's.

Apparently, I am the only person bothered by this because my Google search found almost no complaints. Yes, I posted on the Honda Fit forum too and just one user said he experienced the same thing. It's really not just my car, it's EVERY Honda Fit of this generation, but people are fine with it apparently.

I'm going to go ahead and purchase the driver's side now. While I'm at it, I might buy a Dorman unit as well, just because I'm curious!

YIPPEEE!!!!!!! This "dumb" thing could've been a deal breaker for me.
I appreciate the update on these too , in the event i want OEM replacements. Thanks!

Those of you that are having a problem popping out the mirror... there is a groove at each lower corner for a flat head screwdriver. Just follow it upwards at 45 degrees, then twist the screwdriver a 1/4 turn to pop out each corner of the mirror. Hopefully this crude pic will help explain it clearly.

As for the distortion/funhouse effect, I have it as well. I believe it could be partly due to the heating element warping the plastic over time.
