P0304 misfire code help

Hi all,
2011 Fit base. Cylinder 4 misfire code. I've read a bunch of posts on this issue. Car has 190,000 miles on it. Never had valves adjusted. New plugs about 10-20K mile ago when I had the front struts done. One coil pack broke during disassembly so it was replaced. A little while ago (about 1-3K mile ago) I began having the check engine light begin flashing when the trans had to downshift to pass people on the highway. Basically, if I had to nail the loud pedal down, the code would flash, I would lose power and have to pull over and shut car off and restart. Check engine light would go away and drive as normal. Could not get a code on code reader because light never stayed on long enough to show a code. Two days ago driving 300 miles it happened again and check engine light stayed on. That's when I got the P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire) code. I noticed on the way back home (same 300 mile drive) that the miss seems to be getting slightly worse over time, especially at cruising speeds. I have noticed a miss since the plugs were done (by a friend, not by me) at idle, especially with A/C on. My friend did the plugs and struts. I COULD have done that job but it was blazing hot at the time in the summer, I have a heart condition and don't do well in the heat and big effort jobs and me don't get along anymore unfortunately.

First thing I'm going to do is check for loose plugs since I've read that can be a problem. Second thing I'm going to do is check the cylinder 4 coil pack.

Which cylinder is cylinder four? Closest to the passenger side or closest to the driver side? I've also read that it is the fourth cylinder in the FIRING ORDER and not necessarily the fourth cylinder in the row.

Which one is it? Fourth cylinder in a row (and which one)? Or is it the fourth in the firing order?

Thanks,
Andy

Number 4 cylinder is the one closet to the driver’s side if you haven’t figure this out by now. Suggest moving that #4 coil pack that was replaced to another cylinder and then see if the misfire then goes to that cylinder. Your car is overdue for a valve adjustment as you are probably aware and that can cause misfire codes as well. But start with the simple thing first.
